Plastic Beach is the third studio album by the virtual band Gorillaz, released in March 2010. The album features guest performances by Snoop Dogg, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Kano, Bashy, Bobby Womack, Mos Def, Gruff Rhys, De La Soul, Little Dragon, Mark E. Smith, Lou Reed, Mick Jones, Paul Simonon, sinfonia ViVA and The Lebanese National Orchestra for Oriental Arabic Music. "Plastic Beach" is being released in a total of five editions, many of which contain a multitude of exclusive features.
Finally some new gorillaz it's been alittle while since the greatness that was Demon Days with D-Sides released in the meantime to tide us over but here Damon and company are back doing what they do best. Addictive, catchy, Electropop full of Alternative Hip-Hop and Rock elements in a layered offering that only gets better after repeated listens.
